Coordinating a project's mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems is challenging. To meet this challenge, we design mechanical systems virtually, fully utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) and deploying a variety of technologies including 2D, 3D, parametric modeling and collision detection. This approach enables us to identify and solve coordination issues and other problems up front, rather than later in the field, when solutions become more elusive and expensive. With this technology, we gain the ability to pre-fabricate most systems then deliver them to the site for an organized installation. Auburn Mechanical frequently acts as the MEP lead in large, complex projects where MEP coordination could be problematic. We achieve effective coordination.
