Westland Distillery’s New Process Cooling System Increases Efficiency by 80%

Auburn Mechanical has completed work on the Westland Distillery - Process Cooling System Retrofit. Previously, Westland Distillery was using domestic water to cool the distilling process, which was not economically or environmentally viable. By installing a dual system cooling tower/chiller, they are saving 13,000 gallons of water per day and increasing efficiency by about 80% (compared to a chiller alone). As the owner-direct mechanical contractor, Auburn Mechanical provided guidance and expertise during this process.
